Peggy Lou (Berryhill) Anthony, the daughter of Vera Martin and Fred Berryhill, was born on August 21, 1934, in Kenna, New Mexico, she attended the Elida schools where she graduated with the class of 1953. Peggy grew up with 5 sisters. Her dad dreamed of having a son to help him work on the ranch, but he got 6 daughters instead. After graduation Peggy worked in the local business to save money, so her and Jack could get married. They were married July 17, 1953. To this union, two children were born. Later a 1 granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren to love and they adore them all.
While Peggy and Jack both were living at Parkview Point, the best part was not having to cook, clean or do the laundry. It’s an “easy” life. Peggy’s advice for youngsters: “Be honest & work hard to win in the end!”
