Michael Todd Millam

Michael Todd Millam was born May 22, 1963, in Ashland District Hospital to Jack W Millam and Marie Murphy Millam. Mike grew up in Ashland attending K-12 in Ashland school system. Mike played football and golf during his school years. Mike played on the Ashland 11-man state football champion team his senior year. Mike was named honorable mention in football 11-man school his senior year. Mike graduated from High School with the class of 1981. 

 Mike worked at many things during his life. Mike work for Robert York farming and ranching, Ashland Oil Company, Clark County Road and Bridge, Truck Driver, and Mechanic.

 Mike married Debbie Gillespie in 1982 at the St Joseph Catholic Church in Ashland. The had three sons twins Robbie Michael, Dustin Todd and Cody James, the later divorced. Mike married Cheryl Rust in 1990 in Goodland, Kansas, they had twin sons Chris and Corey. Cheryl left her earthly home in 2022.

Mike was preceded in death by his father in 1981, twin son Dustin Todd at birth, wife, Cheryl. Mike left his earthly home on January 5, 2024, at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. 

 Mike is survived by his mother Marie Smyth of Ashland, half brother Scott Malott of Hays, Kansas, his sons, Robbie Millam Jarrett, Hutchinson, Kansas, Cody Millam Jarrett and wife Kristina of Hutchinson, Kansas, Chris Millam of Chicago, Illinois, Corey Millam Goodland, Kansas, grand children Faith, Micah, Mikaela, and Jackson. 

 Mike was many things in life, son, brother, dad, and grandfather, for the last 22 past years a wanderer and homeless. Mike is now home, for the last time and laid to rest beside his father. 

Memorial Graveside service will be held at 11:00am Saturday July 27, 2024 in the Highland Cemetery, Ashland, Kansas.
