Mary Jane (Maddox) Rogers, is the daughter of Charlie and Rose Marie Maddox, born on June 18, 1925 in Wichita, Kansas. Better known to family and friends as Jane, attended the Skinner grade school and graduated from the North High School in Wichita, Kansas. Mary Jane and Charlie Russell Rogers were united in marriage on September 29, 1945 at Ashland, Kansas. They lived on the farm near the Paruna Community, where they raised six children Sandra, James, Barbara, Donald, Joyce, and Iris. Jane and Russell worked together for 47 years on the dairy farm raising cattle, chickens, goats and other critters. Jane was always supportive to her children and grandchildren attending all of their athletic actives or other things they were doing at the time. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell in 1992 and continued the farm business. Later she assisted her son James running the farm until she was not able. She was also preceded in death by her husband; grandson Aaron Rogers; daughter Sandra Mahaffey; three brothers Harold, George, & Charles; and four sisters Enid Cash; Belle Puryear, Mable Rotramel, Rose Parks. Very peace fully Jane went to her heavenly home on May 30, 2015 in Buffalo, Oklahoma at the Grave Living Center. Jane is survived by her sons James Rogers of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma, Donald Rogers of Buckeye, Arizona; three daughters Barbara Pool of Enid, Oklahoma, Joyce Rogers of Amarillo, Texas and Iris Crowder of Denton, Texas; 17 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
