Louise Shahan

Agnes Louise Shahan was born December 19, 1932 to James Robert Painter and Annie Edith White, she was the 4th youngest of 9 children.  Louise met Travis Shahan in Bradley, Oklahoma, they were married on July 3, 1949, this union lasted for 64 years.  Louise and Travis where blessed with two children Robert Crawford (Bob) Shahan and Terrilyn (Shahan) Appleton.  Louise and Travis made their home in Velma, Oklahoma, after her children started school, Louise decided to attend Duncan Beauty School.  Upon completion of school, Louise opened her own Beauty Shop. Travis was transferred with his job in the oilfield moving them to Buffalo, Oklahoma where they made their home in 1965.  Louise first worked for Geneva Harmon and Effie Harper as a fill in beautician while waiting for her equipment to arrive from Velma.  When her equipment arrived Louise opened her own Beauty Shop next to her home and work until 2022.  Louise loved her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids.  She enjoyed camping with Travis and her sister. She loved to go fishing whenever they could.  Louise had a heart of gold and truly loved her family.  Louise was preceded in death by her husband; Travis, son; Bob, grandson; Traver Shahan, son-in-law; Lonnie Appleton.  Louise is remembered by daughter; Terrilyn Appleton, grandsons; Joe Appleton and family, JC Appleton (Barbara) and family, Lucas Appleton (Amanda) and family, many grandchildren; great grandchildren; other family and friends.  Louise will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
