John Tunder

John Tunder was born April 14, 1923, in Santana, Kansas, to John Henry and Altha Mary (Guest) Tunder. John attended school and graduated from the 8th grades.  John went into the Army Aircorp.  John and Elizabeth Rachel (Huckaby) were united in marriage on June 1, 1947 at the Selman Farm House, to this union one son was born John Tunder Jr.  John and Elizabeth made their home on the farm, where they lived, raising cattle and planting crops.  John was preceded in death by his parents; wife Elizabeth on December 19, 1993; sister, Pauline Schroeder; and brother Jack Tunder.  John left his earthly home on September 27, 2015.  John leaves as his survivors son John Tunder and wife Lois of Buffalo, Oklahoma; Grandchildren Jennifer Tunder and John B. Tunder; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.
