Janice Jean Lemons was born July 4, 1947 to Bev Berlin and Cora Naydeen (Franklin) Miller at Woodward, Oklahoma. Janice grew up in Buffalo where she attended school and graduated from Buffalo High School, with the class of 1966. Janice and Jerry Lemons were united in marriage on April 11, 1967 at Sapulpa, Oklahoma. A short time later they made their home in Buffalo, Oklahoma, raising three children Tammie, Dayna, and Jerry. Janice was a very hard worker, working at Harpers Café, Grace Living Center, and Buffalo Schools as a Janitor and a school Bus driver.

Janice enjoyed spending time and taking care of her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews along with the other kids.  Janice enjoyed going to kids sports games and school activities. She also enjoyed reading a good book, cross stitching, and Oh! What a Nascar and OU fan she was. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Tammie Walker, her husband Jerry Lemons, a granddaughter Bailey Walker, brothers Gary Miller and Jerry Miller, sister-in-law Leah Kay Miller. Janice left her earthly home on September 9, 2014 with her family at her bedside.

Janice leaves as her survivors daughter Dayna Walker and husband Jay,  son Jerry Lemons both of Buffalo, Oklahoma; brother Joe Miller of Fairview, Oklahoma;  Sister Gail Mclain and husband Jerry of Buffalo, Oklahoma; mother-in-law June Lemons of Buffalo, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Delbert Lemons of Buffalo, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Debbie Miller of  Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren Dustin Walker, Jacob Walker, Megan Walker and Eli Mclain; great grandson Carson Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
