Gladys Tolly

Gladys C. Tolly was born February 28, 1933 near Ft. Cobbs, Oklahoma Raymond & Sarah Caroline

(Browne) Franklin. Gladys attended school at Capitol Hill High Schools in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Gladys began working at her mother’s Cafeteria when she was 14 years old. Gladys married to Arthur

H. Coker united in marriage on July 22, 1950 and to this union 2 boys were born Robert and Charley

Coker. Gladys was a machinist in Oklahoma City making Ball Bearing. Gladys was

proceeded by her husband Arthur Cooker on December 3, 1984. Gladys married Russell N. Scowon on

September 15, 1986 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Russell preceded her in death on April 15, 1997.

Gladys and Henry Tolly were united in marriage October 27, 1997 making their home in Buffalo,

Oklahoma for the past 15 years. She enjoyed working out in the yard gardening, growing flowers and

taking a long walk around the neighbor hood where she would stop and talk to people.  She attended the

First Christian Church of Buffalo. Gladys was a member of the Red Hats Lady’s

Graveside services were held in the Rose Hill Cemetery Oklahoma City Oklahoma at 2:00PM Wednesday August 14, 2013 with Pastor Barry Haack officiating, under the Direction of Wilkinson Funeral Service Buffalo, Oklahoma. CONDOLENCES MAYBE MADE TO THE FAMILY AT www.wilkinsonfuneralservice.com
