Don Luthi

Don Luthi better known to family and friends as “Donnie” was born at Meade, Kansas on July 21, 1953 to Paul and Virginia (Jantz) Luthi. Don grew up in the area, attending Ensign grade school and High School Graduating with the class of 1971, then attended Mid America Nazarene College. Don and Lisa Rhines were united in marriage and to this union two children were born Jennifer and Daniel. Don ran the Buffalo Sale Barn with his father, then later worked for Lee Lane at the Buffalo Feed yard. Don spent years working in the oil field. Working for approximate 20 years with Max & Jim Barth and 30 years Don ran the L&L Windmill Service. Don enjoyed sports, interests, and activities. He lived to Work but did enjoy spending time with grandchildren and going to their activities. He was preceded in death by his Father Paul.  Don went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, February 29, 2016, at his daughter house in Meade, Kansas with family and friends by his bed side. Don leaves as his survivors, daughter Jennifer & husband Thomas Godfrey, Daniel Luthi, His mother Virginia Luthi, and 6 grandchildren Tyler Godfrey, Courtney Godfrey, Riley Hanks, Aspen Hanks, Chandler Hanks and Lincoln Godfrey. His brothers Robert & wife Rosemary, and Ronald Luthi; and his sister Tena Luthi, other relatives and many friends.
