David Wayne Oden, was born in Waco Texas to Kevin & Heide Cahill. David lived in Jacksonville, Texas before he moved to Buffalo, Oklahoma in 2011. David excelled in his school actives, he was an avid athlete, especially in football and in track where he pole vaulted. David received the Blaine Stone Award and All-State Jacket for football. David graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 2013. David was a friend to all and would always give us a good laugh when we needed it. David was very active in the churches both First Baptist Church and First Christian Church, during High School. David first love was God and Jesus Christ, he was very proud to be a Christian. After graduation David moved to Woodward, Oklahoma where begain working at Northwest Equipment as a welder. David was attending Great Plains Technical Center studying welding. David attended Thousand Hills Ranch Church in Woodward, Oklahoma. David went home to be with his heavenly father on February 12, 2014 surrounded by all of his family at O U Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his little brother Dakota Saylors, and an Uncle Joshva Cahill. David leaves as his survivors his parents Eric & Heather Saylors and Brother Dylan, of Buffalo, Oklahoma, his father Kevin and wife Ton Oden of Jacksonville, Texas, Mother Heidi Cahill and fiancé Nathan Tucker of Morrilton, Arkansas, brother Brandon Oden and wife Anna of Rice Texas, sister Savanna Oden of Morrilton, Arkansas, step brothers and sisters Mercedes, Madison, and Koby Copley, of Jacksonville, Texas, Grandparents Debbie & Doug Everett of Buffalo, Oklahoma, and Clifton Oden of Jacksonville, Texas, Great Grandparents Bill & Betty Everett of Mesquite, Texas, Mildred Oden of Jacksonville, Texas, and Lavern and Lois Glover of Duncanville, Texas, Uncles Jarod Saylors of Buffalo, Oklahoma, Kevin Oden of Jacksonville, Texas, Fiance Lilly Garcia and family of Woodward, Oklahoma. Special Friends Mike and Delancie Mclain, Ferrando Lopez, Morgan Glover, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and friends.
