Darrall Gene Ingraham, (Durwood) was born on May 22, 1950 in Moreland Oklahoma. Darrall walked this life with pride, integrity, and honor right up until the moment Jesus called him home on January 3, 2024. Darrall graduated from Buffalo High School with the class of 1968 and went into the oilfield. When the boom went bust he decided he needed a job that would be around forever. He looked to the automotive industry for a career and decided he was going to be “The best dang mechanic in Northwest Oklahoma”, and that is what he did. Darrall had a successful career doing automotive repair in all of Northwest Oklahoma until he retired in 2009 due to heath issues. He battled COPD, overcame the grasp of cancer, and ultimately gave his life to God in 2010 after a health scare. From then forward he spent his days with family and spread the word of God, every chance he could. He sang the hymns, read his devotional every single morning, and never ever missed an opportunity to talk about Jesus. Facebook was his go-to, this we will all miss the “gifs” he always left under all of our posts. Darrall spent his free time hunting, fishing, and shooting. He taught his kids, grandkids, and anyone else who would listen, the tricks to the outdoors. From long range shooting, calling in all the “yotes”, getting a big Oklahoma Whitetail on the ground, to the right rod and lure for the job, he knew it all. His passion for the sport was evident. Generations of outdoorsman and women were all forged through the hard-work and determination of “Papa”. Papa was many things growing up and raising a family but above-all a good man and a ‘Grumpy Papa”. Darrall was preceded in death by his father Walter Ingraham, a sister Connie Ashlock, and Great granddaughter Emersyn Najera. He is survived by his Mother Glenda Ingraham, loving wife Lynette, sons Mike, Jeff, and Adam, a sister Karen Hickman husband Cody, a brother Steve Ingraham wife Som, grandkids Lili, Beau, Jaxxon, Marissa, Kaimi, & Korbin, Great Grandkids Dean, Wilder, Holdon, Kimberlyn, Carson, Cora, many nieces nephews other relative’s and many friends.
