Darline Geneva Hall was born in Wickenburg, AZ to Minnie Rabe-Hall and Hobart Hall. She had two younger sisters, Diane and Peggy. The family moved to Beaver County in 1945. Geneva attended Clearlake Grade School and Laverne High School. She met Lester Leon Franks, known as Buddy, after graduation from High School. She attended one semester of nursing school before getting married to Buddy on 6 Oct 1960. They had two children Eldon (born 1961) and Dixie (born 1962). Bud and Geneva lived in and around Gate, OK from 1961 to 1972 when the family moved to Oklahoma City after the closer of the MK&T Railroad line in the Panahandle. She ran the family hay hauling business in the late 1960s, did medical transcriptions in the 1980s, and served as an insurance clerk in the 1990s. They remained in the Choctaw area of Oklahoma City until after Bud’s death in 2007. They were married for 47 years. Geneva returned to Laverne in 2012 and moved into Grace Living Center at Buffalo in 2015. She had five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and 24 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Father, Mother, Sister (Peggy), and Granddaughter (Daisy Smith).
