Connie Hagen

Connie Laurene (Carpenter) Hagen was born in the Woodward Hospital, Woodward, Oklahoma on December 22 1948, to Lewis and Laurene Carpenter. Connie attended Woodward Schools, until 1965, when the family moved to Selman, Oklahoma and later graduated from the Selman High School with the Class of 1968. Connie and Gene Hagen were united in marriage on April 17, 1971 in the United Methodist Church of Shattuck, Oklahoma, and made the home there. Connie was employed at the City of Shattuck Police Dept. as a dispatcher, and worked at the Shattuck Grocery Store, also worked at the Meat packing Plant of Shattuck. Connie loved to crochet and do crafts, collecting Hens  & Roosters crafts, and  collected all kinds of Cook Books and used then to cook gourmet meals for her husband Gene; and enjoyed collecting old Jewelry that she wore a lot.  Connie moved to Buffalo, Oklahoma to make her home. Connie went to be with the Lord Sunday March 31, 2013 at the Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 64.   She was preceded in death by husband Gene December 30 2008 and her father Lewis in 1996 and her mother Laurene Carpenter this month March 4, 2013. Connie leaves as her survivors, a sister Linda & husband Larry Glennie of Woodward, Ok. Brother Lewis & wife Brenda Carpenter of Buffalo, Oklahoma, many nieces, nephews and Friends.
