In loving memory of William “Bill” Porter Seacat, was born November 17, 1959 in Ashland, Kansas, to George and Bessie Seacat. Bill passed away on October 31, 2023, with his wife by his bedside. Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His life showed remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication. Bill’s passion for football was evident from a young age and his talent on the field earned him a place on the All-State team in high school. Football led him to a scholarship at Hutchinson Community College, until an unfortunate injury changed his path. He attended Dodge City Community College for a year, when at that time he decided to marry the love of his life Tammy Ediger. Most of their marriage was spent living and working on the Eubanks Ranch and teaching his sons to work, hunt and fish.
Bill is survived by his wife Tammy and their children. Daniel and Kristi Seacat, children Jordan, Logan and Olivia. Darin and Jeanette Seacat and children Presley, Maci, River and Jade. Dustin and Kelli Seacat and children, Ember and Easton. Bill was preceded in death by his parents George and Bessie Seacat.
Bill’s memory will live on in the hearts of all whom had the honor to share in his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Memorial Services will be held 10:30AM Saturday November 4, 2023 at the Ashland High School Auditorium.
