Alma Yearby

Alma Johnnie Yearby was born to Howard Amos and Allie Frances (Greer) Adams on April 17, 1932 in Denver, Colorado. Better know to her family and friends as Johnnie grew up in the Colorado. Later Johnnie made her home in California where she met Michael Yearby and they were later married in Reno, Nevada on July 18, 1970. They moved to Freedom, Oklahoma and purchased the Cimarron Saloon and operated the saloon for several years. Johnnie also worked at the Freedom Hardware store. After her husband death March 19, 2009 Johnnie operated the Cimarron Saloon. Johnnie enjoyed making jewelry, working with crafts and sewing. Johnnie departed this life at the home Easter Sunday morning at the age of 79. She was also preceded in death by her parents a son Edward. Johnnie is survived by her children Lloyd Barnard of Boise, Id. Debbie Page of Freedom, Ok. Stuart & wife Dawn Page of Freedom, Ok. Jennifer Shoemaker of Broken Arrow, Ok. Stephanie & Donnie Wehrenberg of Freedom, Ok. Carol Barnard of Camp Verde Az.; and Alan Kopplinger. 21 Grandchildren Crystal & Jeremi Poplin, Cameron & Crystal Page, Trisha Cohen, Danielle & Grant Whipple, Matthew Page, Stephanie Williams, Amanda Page, Michael Page, Conet Perry, Austin Shoemaker, Anthony & Brittney Anderson, Tyler & Kate Anderson, Countney & Brady Seade, 6 Great Grandchildren Sydnee, Hunter, Emery, Madalyn, Sara, and Zoey other relatives and many friends.

Family and Friends Celebration Service for Johnnie Yearby will be held at 6:00PM in the Cimarron Saloon in Freedom Friday April 14, 2012.
