Allen Ball

Allen Craig Ball was born on February 7, 1956 at Greensburg, Kansas to Elmer and Leona (Harris) Ball. At a young age his parents, two brothers Ken & Larry and a sister Donna moved to Buffalo, Oklahoma and made the home, then came Allen’s baby brother Russell. Allen graduated form Buffalo High School. Allen joined the United State Navy and served his country for several years. Allen has been a resident of Ashland, Kansas since his adulthood. Allen worked as a carpenter and plumber along side Bob Albert Construction, Mishler’s Service Center; Dave Osborn; and Russ Hensley construction. He also was a handy man fixing all different thing or repairing cars, truck and worked on motorcycles. Allen loved the New York Yankees and Harley Davidson motorcycles.   Allen enjoyed playing the guitar and enjoyed listening to music.  Allen was an animal lover, with his lovely dog Yuhoo, who was always in the pickup with Allen.  Allen was proceeded in death by his parents, and a sister Donna Schmiedeke of Elkhart, Kansas. Allen left his earthly home on February 25, 2019. Allen is survived by his brothers, Ken Ball, Larry Ball and Russell Ball, wife Kristi, Brother in Law, Herb Schmiedeke, nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
